| ND Lady Green Wave stumps Greenville, advances to semi-finals |

COLUMBUS – The North Delta Lady Green Wave stumped Greenville Christian, 62-22, and advanced to the semi-final rounds of the Academy North AAA tournament.
The Lady Green Wave will play Heritage, Friday, February 15, at 2:30 PM. If they win, they will play in the championship game Saturday, February 16, at 2:30 PM. If the Lady Green Wave lose, they will play in the consolation game for third place, Saturday at 1 PM.

COLUMBUS – The North Delta Jr. High Lady Green Wave went undefeated throughout the season and the tournament to bring home the district trophy. The Lady Green Wave defeated Heritage in the last regular season game, 37-14, Thursday, February 7, to maintain a 6-0 district record.
The Lady Green Wave had to face Heritage, Saturday, February 9, in the semi-finals of the district tournament and again won handily 43-17. In the finals against Indianola Saturday night, the Lady Green Wave had to work harder for its 48-37 win.

INDIANOLA – The North Delta jr. high boys team placed second in the district after losing the championship game to Heritage, Saturday, February 9.
The Green Wave defeated Oak Hill 29-23 in the semi-final game to advance to the final Friday, February 8.

| Last second missed shot costs Lady Cougars game and season |

TUNICA – The North Panola Lady Cougars saw a much-improved season come to an end Wednesday, February 13.
The Lady Cougars and Senatobia tangled in the second round of the district playoffs. The game was tied 61-61 with 10 seconds left. Senatobia hit a field goal and went ahead. The Lady Cougars called time out with :05 seconds left on the clock in order to give them time to set up a play. The Lady Cougars missed the basket and took the 63-61 loss.

The North Panola Cougars lost to M.S. Palmer 65-40, Monday, February 11, and ended the season in the first round of district playoffs.
