Sundays
First Baptist Church Batesville 104 Panola Avenue will have KFC “Kids for Christ” Road Trips each Sunday thru August 30 from 5 - 7 p.m. The meeting place is in the gym.
Each week will be a different  adventure and lots of fun for children who have completed K5-6th grade.
 
Wednesdays
Summer Reading Program sessions at First Baptist Church  are planned each Wednesday through July 29 at 6:30 p.m. in room 205 for children who have completed K5-6th grade.
There will be prizes. For more information call 563-7655.
 
Mondays and Thursdays
D.I.V.A. Women’s Ministry of New Destiny M.B. Church is sponsoring a summer tutoring program on Mondays 10 a.m. - noon and Thursdays 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. for grades Pre-K - sixth.

Fri., June 26
Courtland Baptist Church  will close Vacation Bible School 6-8 p.m. Ages 2 through 12th grade are invited.
Eureka United Methodist Church will close Vacation Bible School 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Classes will be for pre-school - sixth grade.
Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church will close vacation Bible school 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Sardis Lake Baptist Church will close Vacation Bible School from 6-9 p.m. Ages 3-12 are invited.

June 26-28
New Greater Light Baptist Church will have a dedication service at 7 nightly. Sunday Rev. Walter Newsom will be the guest speaker at 2 p.m.

Sat., June 27
Spring Hill M.B. Church will have a youth day program at 6 p.m. For more information call Sheila Kelson at 934-6468.
Nelson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Missionary Society will have its Women’s Prayer and Praise Breakfast at 9 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. RSVP to Yolanda Wright 578-8611. Spring or summer hat attire is encouraged.
The Power House Church of God In Christ, 127 Hoskins Rd, Batesville, will host its annual Youth Night at 7 p.m. The guest speaker will be Missionary  NyKeia Edwards of Carrolton. Guests choirs  and groups from the surrounding areas will be attending.  

Sun., June 28
Persimmon Hill M.B. Church will have its pastor and wife’s fourth year anniversary at 3 p.m. Rev. Eric Nelson and Vaiden Church of Friendship will be special guests.
Antioch M.B. Church will celebrate musician appreciation at 3 p.m. Rev. Marlon Coleman, pastor of First United Christian Church will be special guest. Rev. Reginald Reed is the pastor.
The 30th anniversary celebration for Earnest Robinson will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Lester Hill Family Life Center on the Mt. Gillion Church Campus. The Supreme Harmonettes, Devotion and other musical guests will be in attendance. For more information call 563-5855.
Pleasant Green Baptist Church of Water Valley will celebrate its pastor’s 11th anniversary at 2:30 p.m. United Baptist Church of Coffeeville and Rev. Barney Martin will be the special guests. Rev. Preston Gleeton is the pastor.
Deliverance Taber-nacle Pentecostal Church, 119 Everett St., will hold a fellowship program at 3 p.m.
Cottonplant A.M.E. Zion Church will celebrate Family and Friends Day with a service at 3:30 p.m. The Rev. Otha Coffey and Elder Ivory Sims will speak and a number of guest choirs will be singing. The public is invited.

June 28 - July 1
Jackson Grove Church of Christ in Enid will have a gospel meeting beginning at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday - Wednesday. The theme is “Preach the Word.” Larry Fife is the speaker.
 
July 5 - 10
Pope Baptist Church will have Vacation Bible School “Boomerang Express” from 6 p.m. - 8:15 p.m. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. Ages 3 - adults welcome.

July 7 - 9
Jerusalem M.B. Church,  110 Martin Luther King Drive, Batesville, will hold a  summer revival with Bobby Walker as the guest speaker. Services are at 7 nightly. The public is invited. Luster King is the pastor.
                                                     
July 6 - 10
Adonai Church will have Vacation Bible School from 6-8:30 p.m. for children ages 4 through sixth grade. The church is located on Highway 315 South. Call 473-6515 for information. Roger Howell is the pastor.

July 11-12
Pope Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church  will celebrate Men’s Day with a musical program on Saturday at 7 p.m. and a special service on Sunday at 3 p.m. The Rev. Fred Butts will be the speaker. The Rev. Nehemiah Martin is pastor of the church.
 
Sun., July 12
Second Concord will have an installation service for their new pastor Dr. Joe Gardner at 3 p.m. The service will be at Macedonia M.B. Church. Everyone is invited.

Friday, July 17
Deliverance Taber-nacle Pentecostal Church, along with East Batesville Mission C.O.G.I.C., will host a Mother’s Program at 7 p.m. At the East Batesville C.O.G.I.C.

Sun., July 19
Spring Hill M.B. Church will celebrate its pastor and wife’s 19th anniversary at 3 p.m.
Deliverance Taber-nacle Pentecostal Church, 119 Everett St.,  will host its annual usher day program at 3 p.m.
