Jason and Danielle Erwin of Fordyce, Ark. announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Kasie Marie, to Daniel Joshua Workman, son of Kenneth and Gwynne Workman of Fordyce.
Kasie is the granddaughter of the late Larry Lucas of Batesville, and the late Sandy Lucas of Warren and Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Dyer of New Edinburg, Ark. She is the step-granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Erwin of Fordyce and the great-granddaughter of Violet Lucas and the late Sam Lucas of Batesville.
Miss Erwin is a 2010 graduate of Fordyce High School and is currently working on her CNA. She is employed at Fred’s in Hot Springs.
Mr. Workman is the grandson of Beth Greene Land of Fordyce and the late Johnny Odwin Greene and Lillie Sue Workman and the late Roland Workman of Thornton.
He is a 2007 graduate of Fordyce High School and a 2008 graduate of Nashville Auto Diesel College in Nashville. He is currently employed at Glenwood Equipment in Glenwood, Ark.
The couple will exchange vows Saturday, September 17, at 5 p.m. in the home of the bride’s mother. A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony.
Hensons repeat vows
Keri Towns Henson of Oxford, formerly of Batesville, and Marcus Henson of Oxford, will have their wedding ceremony performed by Rev. Fred Butts at 2 p.m. at Nelson Chapel M.B. Church on Saturday, Sepember 3.
All friends and family are invited to attend.
Johnny Greene Sayle of Oxford and Jennifer Hutchison Price of Senatobia were married July 25 in Juneau, Alaska on Mendenhall Glacier. Tom Stewart, marriage commissioner officiated. Johnny and Jennifer have made their home in Oxford with Jennifer’s daughter, Mary Kathryn Price.
The bride is the daughter of Royce Hutchison of Como and the late Mildred Hutchison. The groom is the son of Isaac Sayle and the late Sue Whitten Sayle.
Putmans celebrate 50th
Carol Tedford Putman and Gregory Putman celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on August 26.
They were married on August 26, 1961, in the Enon Community.
They have three children, Rhonda Skipper of Batesville, John Putman of Oxford and Robin Irby of Batesville; two grandchildren, Amber and DJ and three great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Mackenzie and Emma.
Kayla Marie Edlin of Sardis and Trevor Halee Renfro of Crowder were united in marriage on Saturday, July 2 at Sardis United Methodist Church in Sardis.
Rev. Dayna Goff performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Pam and John Hudson and the late Doug Edlin of Sardis.
She is the granddaughter of Janie Westmoreland of Sardis and the late Cora Dell Edlin and the late Clay Edlin of Sardis.
The groom is the son of Terry Renfro Griffin of Crowder. He is the grandson of Nancy Renfro and the late Harold Renfro of Crowder.
Amanda Griffin of Crowder served the bride as matron of honor.
She was also attended by Hope Donahou and Jessica Darby of Sardis.
Andrea Hudson the daughter of Brenda Patrick and John Hudson of Sardis was the flower girl.
The bride wore an ivory strapless gown. She wore white diamond earrings inherited from her great-grandmother.
Her attendants wore blue tea-length halter style chiffon dresses.
Rowdy Wayne Griffin of Crowder served the groom as best man.
Joby Griffin and Hayden Renfro, both of Crowder.
Cotten Riley Griffin, the son of Rowdy and Amanda Griffin of Crowder was the ring bearer.
A reception followed the ceremony at the church’s reception hall.
The couple took a wedding trip to Lake Tiak-O’Khata in Louisville.
Following the ceremony the couple makes their home in Crowder.
