ND ladies down ranked Lady Raiders

The North Delta Lady Green handed No. 4 ranked Delta Academy its first loss of the season by the score of 51-48 Saturday afternoon in Marks.

Bradi Beard led the way with 17 points and six steals while Lauren Kimzy added 15 points and five steals to help North Delta improve to 8-5 on the season. Delta meanwhile fell to 10-1 on the year.

Hanna Greenlee followed Kimzey with nine points while Sara Waldrip contributed with six points and eight rebounds. Laci DuBravec and Kourtney Norris each had two points.

North Delta’s Junior High girls squad moved to 7-1 on the year with a 42-33 victory over the Raiders. Charla Shae Darby was the leading scorer with 19 points followed by Julianna Morrow with eight points, seven rebounds and six steals. Erin Snider pulled down eight boards to go along with her six points while Hastings Neal also registered six points.

Callie Blake Masterson dished out nine assists, six steals and two points while Claire Gant rounded out scoring with one point. Courntney DuBravec added five rebounds.

In varsity boys action, North Delta improved to 2-3 on the year with a 45-43 victory over Delta.

North Delta will host Calhoun Academy Thursday  at 4 p.m. before traveling to Indianola Friday for six games starting at 3 p.m.

Its great that the teams all won, but why do some people only have how many points they scored and the others have rebounds, steals, etc? If you are going to write that about one write it for all of them.
