Deaths of puppy, kitten prompt cry for justice

I gave a puppy who had just turned 6 weeks old to my aunt recently. When my aunt and her husband returned home after an absence, they found the puppy shot in the neck with a .22 which killed the innocent puppy.

The puppy’s name was “Smokey.” Smokey was too precious for words, bearing a strong resemblance to the puppy you see in the Cottonell TV commercials. My aunt resides on Perkins Street in Crowder, and not too far from her slain Smokey, was a small kitten which (assumingly) the same person or persons broke its neck and killed it as well.

If a person is cruel enough to shoot an innocent puppy and kill a small kitten, then imagine what that person or persons would be capable of with people and/or their homes or most beloved treasures.

If anyone has a lead on who committed these heinous crimes, you may contact me directly at 662-10-4987 and I will be sure to notify the property authorities as this was a senseless, cruel and inhumane crime. I am quite sure that if this person or persons was brave enough to walk upon my aunt’s porch, retrieve the small puppy and shoot it as well as killing the kitten, that said person or persons will brag about doing so to someone, mistaking themselves as a human being!

This crime should not go unpunished.

Thank you kindly

/s/Tammy M. Darby
