Johnson Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church will host its 140th Session of the West Tennessee and Mississippi Annual Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church. The New Destiny Church Women’s Ministry will hold its Women of Excellence Conference beginning Friday at 7 p.m. with Linda Jones of Victory in Christ Community Church Ministries as the speaker; Saturday at 11 a.m. Julie Bibbs with Manifold Wisdom Church of God in Christ will speak along with Breast Cancer Awareness speaker Tammy Campbell, R.N.

The non-profit Boys 2 Men United will host a Gospel Extravaganza at the Lester Hill Life Center at 6 p.m. Performers will include Donald Walker and Prophetic Praise, Mt. Gillion Choir, Gifted Men, Greg Henderson, John Hampton and the Calvaliers and others. A donation of $3 is asked at the door.

Immanuel Baptist Church in the Curtis community will hold its fall revival, with services Saturday at 7 p.m., led by Rickey Red. Eric Payne will lead the Sunday morning service at 11 a.m. and Roger Howell will lead the Sunday evening service at 6 p.m.
