On March 21-22, 1968 a snowstorm blew into North Mississippi with accumulations up to umpteen inches according to those who survived to exaggerate the story. Question is: Do you think we will experience snowfall with accumulation this March?


 
Panola County Arrest Log

The following information was taken from the log book at the David M. Bryan Justice Complex. A charge does not indicate an admission of guilt.

Nov. 1

Undrell Salter, 23 Graham Rd., Sardis, was arrested and charged with domestic violence. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Kayla Jackson, 15 Graham Rd., Sardis, was arrested and charged with domestic violence. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

LaMarcus Simmons, 967 Lenow Mall, Apt. 13, Memphis, was arrested on a bond surrender for felony shoplifting. The case will be heard in Circuit Court.

Nov. 2

Josh L. Morgan, 405 Warren St., Como, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. The case will be heard in Como Municipal Court.

James Michael Bay Jr., 3166 Deer Creek, Batesville, was arrested and charged with grand larceny, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Felicia Alanthea Jean Bowens, 205 Greg Taylor Rd., Courtland, was arrested and charged with contempt of court. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Nov. 3

Ashley Dale Long, 1775 Sardis Drive, Batesville, was arrested and charged with threatening phone calls. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Benica B. Milan, 105-5 Lester St., Batesville, was arrested and charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct- failure to comply. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.

Archie N. Joiner, 644 James Crouch Rd., Courtland, is a state inmate being housed at the jail.

Nov. 4

Anthony Dewayne Meeks, 1457 Killebrew Rd., Marks, was arrested and charged with armed robbery and conspiracy. The case will be heard in Crowder Municipal and Circuit Courts.

Jabari S. Smith, 109 Booker T. St., Batesville, was arrested and charged with contempt of court. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.

Shanecka Lasha Shaw, 5487 Lucious Taylor Rd., Como, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and simple assault on a minor. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Nov. 5

James Wilson Jr., 201 Atkins St., Apt. 3, Sardis, was arrested and charged with contempt of court- failure to pay. The case will be heard in Sardis Municipal Court.

Willie James Lockett, 201 Atkins St., Apt. 7, Sardis, was arrested and charged with driving on the wrong side of the road, DUI-refused test and no insurance. The case will be heard in Sardis Municipal Court.

Courtney Paige McCullar, 157 Wildwood Dr., Batesville, was arrested and charged with stalking. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Robert L. Tamboli, 11386 Pope-Water Valley Rd., Courtland, was arrested and charged with violation of probation. The case will be heard in Circuit Court.

Eddie Lee Porter, 221 Henry Harris Rd., Batesville, was arrested and charged with simple assault. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.

Nov. 6

Patricia H. Farmer, 183 Ferris Rd., Batesville, was arrested and charged with forged, false or fraudulent prescription. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.

Albert John Johnson, 8353 Old Panola Rd., Sardis, is a state inmate being held at the jail.

Russell Gene Taylor, 1253 Lemaster Rd., Sardis, is serving weekends for DUI- second offense.

Phillip Wayne Spencer, 104 Banger Rd., Longtown, is being held for investigation.

Karen Denise Willie, 2791 Shiloh Rd., Courtland, was arrested and charged with DUI and driving while license suspended. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Winston Weary, 221 Flowers Rd., Pope, was arrested and charged with DUI, expired tag, no driver’s license and no insurance. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Samuel Lindsay Horton, 163 Chief Dr., Courtland, was arrested and charged with expired tag, no driver’s license, DUI- refused test and expired inspection sticker. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Nov. 7

Pierre Cornell Dunlop, 107 Martin Luther King Dr., Apt. 86, Batesville, was arrested and charged with domestic violence, DUI, no insurance and no driver’s license. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.

Wesley Mock Jefferson, 918 Lee Jennings Rd., Como, was arrested and charged with domestic violence and a child support lock-up order. The cases will be heard in Justice and Chancery Court.

Cordell Terell Gardner, 303 Fuller Trailer Park, Lot #7, Como, was arrested and charged with simple assault and disturbance of a family. The case will be heard in Como Municipal Court.

Charles Edward Brown, 211 Magnolia St., Sardis, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. The case will be heard in Sardis Municipal Court.

Christopher Glen Hall, 166 Dogwood Cove, Sarah, was arrested and charged wit driving while license suspended. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Crystal Dominique White, 4665 Millstream Dr., Apt. 4, Memphis, was arrested and charged with careless driving and DUI- other substance. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Christopher A. Holt, 4499 Park Place Rd., Como, was arrested and charged with no driver’s license, failure to yield to blue lights and reckless driving. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

J. Cormen Sanchez Soto, 188 Ascalmore Creek, Castillo, was arrested and charged with DUI and improper turn. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Nov. 8

Mario Robert Arqueta, 2113 East 28th St., Lawrence, Kan., was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and no seatbelt. The case will be heard in Batesville Municipal Court.

R. Chester Rogers, 468 McClyde Rd., Como, was arrested and charged with DUI, no driver’s license and a seatbelt violation. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Tyler S. Onidas, 242 Connie Ross Rd., Como, was arrested and charged with two counts of no child restraint, DUI- other substance, no driver’s license and improper turn. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

John Henry House, 175 Dishmon Rd., Como, was arrested and charged with expired inspection sticker, no driver’s license and DUI- first offense. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

William Micah Carver, 124 Panola Ave., Batesville, was arrested and charged with DUI and expired inspection sticker. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

Christy Freeman, 287 Fly Street, Water Valley, was arrested and charged with speeding, no proof of insurance and driving while license suspended. The case will be heard in Justice Court.

I see that someone got arrested for threatening phones calls I also got arrested for threatening phone calls I had papers made out on someone for the same thing and NOTHING WAS EVER DONE ABOUT IT. How come that is. then when i got to the S.O. the depty sheriff tried to bring up my personal life that had nothing to do with me getten arrested.

The proper english should be Why is that instead of How come that is. and getten is spelled getting. Just general information.

rh why is it always someone tries to identify every mistake that someone makes? Since no of us are perfect then "er body" yep i said "er body" need to sweep around their own front door before we try to sweep around someone else, because im sure you have made a lot of mistakes yourself and some of the mistakes youve made you will never tell anyone, but i betcha you wouldnt want anyone to try and correct you or put you down, learn to encourage people more...
