Harold Royce Durham, 77, passed away Wednesday evening, August 17, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.

Funeral services for Royce will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2016, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Royce was born April 18, 1939 to the late James Calvin Durham and Carra Griste Durham in Lafayette County. During his lifetime Royce was a member of Independence Presbyterian Church. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Royce was the owner of Durham’s Hair Center for 56 years. In his spare time he enjoyed duck hunting, wood working and carving, comic drawing, fishing and yard work.

Those left behind to cherish his loving memory include his adoring wife Jo Rotenberry Durham of Batesville, his son, David Durham (Tracey) of Batesville, his sister Annette Moore and brother, Jack Durham, and 2 grandchildren.
