Rosie Lee Cole

SENATOBIA––Rosie Lee Cole, 59, died Friday, February 19, 2016. She was the mother of Como native, Robert Cox Jr.
Services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Gravel Spring M.B. Church. Visitation will be held at the church from noon until service time and also today 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. at Rodgers Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Carter’s Memorial Cemetery.
She was a customer service representative.
Survivors along with her son include: son, Willie Hailey of Milwaukee; five sisters, May A. Hailey Edinburg of Coldwater, Arlene Freeman of Chattanooga, Tenn., Thelma Fowler of Atlanta, Barbara Barnes of Memphis and Tara D. Bowen of Cleveland, Ohio; five brothers, Raymond Cole and Carl Cole, both of Memphis, Calvin Cole of San Francisco, Calif., Cedric Cole and Lionel Webb, both of Senatobia and six grandchildren.

Annette Peaches Denney, 70, died Sunday, February 21, 2016.
Services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Hernando Funeral Home. A catered reception will be held today 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Hernando Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Clarkson Cemetery in Eupora. Hernando Funeral Home has charge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Alton Denney; one son, Spencer Denney and her parents, Leroy Wintesr and Mary Alice Daugherty Winters.
Survivors include: daughters, Loreada Pace of Batesville and Johnnie Gale Pace of Denham Springs, La.; sons, Timothy Bubba Denney of Frankston, Texas and Terry Denney of Satartia; one sister, Della Turner of Batesville; brothers, James Winters of Kentucky and Homer Winters of Cleveland; 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Georgia Dee Tylor Bowlin Moore

BATESVILLE––Georgia Dee Tylor Bowlin Moore, 83, died Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Hosptal–North Mississippi.
Services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Willow Springs Assembly of God.  Burial will be held at Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 1 p.m. until service time. Dickins Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
 Moore, born to the late Thelma Lee Stokes Moore and Jim Taylor Moore, attended Willow Springs Assembly of God.  
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anderson Moore; one son, James Charles Bowlin; her parents, Thelma Lee Stokes Moore and Jim Taylor Moore; two sisters, Alma and Damaris; and three brothers, James, Franklin and Roy. 

Shelby Ard Pitcock

GREENWOOD––Shelby Ard Pitcock, 75, formerly of Batesville, died February 20, 2016 at Riverview Nursing and Rehab Center in Greenwood.  
Services were held Thursday at Dickins Funeral Home.  Burial was held at Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Batesville. Dickins Funeral Home had charge.
Pitcock, born to the late Ollie Cox Ard and John Ard, was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pat Pitcock and one son, Aubrey Pitcock.
Survivors include: two sons, Ed Pitcock of Batesville and Charles Pitcock of Courtland; four sisters, Virginia Ridgeway of Batesville, Ollie Garner of Jackson, Brenda Coomer of Pontotoc and Linda Williams of Enid; three brothers, J.W. Ard of Courtland, Richard Ard of Jackson and Benny Ard of Kosciusko; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild

Madison Lynn Robertson

Madison Lynn Robertson, 68, died Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at Merit Health in Batesville.
Services will be held Saturday at noon at Cistern Hill Church in Como. Henderson Funeral Home has charge.
Robertson, born Jan. 27, 1948, in Panola, to Lillie Mae Johnson of Como and the late Madison Lynn Robertson, was a farmer.
Survivors along with her mother include; three sons, Curtis Robertson of Coldwater, Robert Boyce and Dekevin Rooks, both of Como; three daughters, Cailsandra Reed of Sardis, Tiesha Rooks and Lashundra Rooks, both of Como; seven brothers, Lucious Osborn Jr. of Tupelo, John Kenney Osborn and Bobby Osborn, Tommy Robertson, Eddie Joe Harris, Danny Robertson and Carlton Holmes, all of Sardis; sisters, Jennie Bowie and Betty Jean Osborn, both of Como and Dottie Wilbourn of Sardis, Oretha Valentine and Penny Brown, both of Coldwater and Willie Mae Ward of Batesville.

Harry Lee Smith

GRENADA––Harry Lee Smith,  58, died February 17, 2016 in Grenada.
Services were held Saturday, February 20, at Newsom Funeral Chapel. Burial was at Bethel Cemetery. Newsom Funeral home had charge.
Mr. Smith, a supervisor with CB & I Pipeline of Corpus Christi, TX, was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Bill and Odean Smith and stepfather Walter McLaughlin.
Survivors include: his wife, Anita Smith of Tillatoba; daughters, Christy Tallent and Kaynesha Anderson; son Jonathan Smith of Tillatoba; his mother, Ann McLaughlin of Greenwood; four sisters, Vickie  Cornet of Oxford, Wanda Bullard of Athens, Ga; Dorothy McLaughlin Moore of Brandon and Jeannie McLaughlin of Greenwood; four brothers, Ronald Smith of Enid, Donald Smith of Pope, Earl Smith of Greenwood and Walter McLaughlin of Jackson and two grandchildren.
