Doris Ann Roper Blair
Doris Ann Roper Blair, 73, died Thursday, November 5, 2015 at La Maison Leisure Living Facility in Denham Springs, La.

The family will hold a graveside service Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Sardis Lake Baptist Church Cemetery in Sardis.

Blair was born January 12, 1942 to the late Harold Roper and Maggie Bolen Roper in Marks.
Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Blair Wilkinson of Slidell, La; four sisters; Kat Yarbrough and Alice Shields, both of Crowder, Jenny Boyette of Batesville, Frances Jaudon of Batesville, one brother, Harold Roper Jr., one grandchild, Blair Wilkinson Craig (Hunter) of Hammond, La., and one great grandchild, Kheringten Blair Craig.

Roland Bradley
ECRU–Roland M. Bradley, 86, died Thursday, November 5, 2015 at his residence.  He was born March 25, 1929 in Panola County to the late Jack Bradley and Susie Trammel Bradley.  He was self-employed handyman and was a member of the Apostolic Revival Center.

Services were held Saturday, November 7 at the Apostolic Revival Center with the Rev. Steve Denton officiating. Burial was in the Vista Memorial Park. United Funeral Service in New Albany was in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include: a daughter Rose Houk of Ecru; five sons Afton Bradley of Colorado Springs, Col., Tommy Bradley of Lewisville, Wayne Bradley of Gurley, Ala., David Bradley and Mark Bradley, both of Ecru, 21 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Mary Dean Britto
Mary Dean Britto, 58, died October 28, 2015, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.

Services were held Saturday, November 7 at New Trinity M. B. Church in Como. Burial was in Askew Grove M. B. Church Cemetery in Sarah. Felix Cauthen Funeral Home had charge.
She worked as a store retailer.

Survivors include: sisters, Stella Phillips, Mae Phillips, Earnestine Phillips, and Linda Mabry, all of Sardis and Callie Pettis, Mary Davis and Lizze Black, all of Como, Shell Hardin of Coldwater; and two brothers, Elmore Phillips of Sardis and Robert Gardner of Como.

Ida Mae Carter
HOLLY SPRINGS––Ida Mae Carter, 90, died Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at Trinity Mission Health and Rehab.

Services were held Monday at Mt. Moriah Church in Como. Burial was in the church cemetery. Felix Cauthen Funeral Home had charge.

Carr was a lab worker at Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include: one daughter, Freddie Mae Cobb of Como; one son, Charles Towns of Memphis; one sister, Annie Mae Jenning of Como; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Jonah Hardrick
FORT LAUDERDALE––Jonah Hardrick, 51, formerly of Batesville, died November 3, 2015.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.

Hardrick, son of the late O.C. Hardrick and Pearlie M. Hardrick, was a heavy equipment operator.

Survivors include: four daughters, Tawana Collin of Springfield, Mass., Pearlie Collin and Joanna Hardrick, both of Greenwood, Bridget Nicole Hardrick of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; one son, Christopher Collin of Greenwood; three brothers, Leroy Hardrick and Clarence Hardrick, both of Batesville and Larry Harris of Memphis; five sisters, Joann Lee and Leooda Mae Hardrick, both of Batesville, Deloris Hardrick and Mildred Stacy McMurry, both of Courtland. 

Mary A. Pelts
Mary A. Pelts, 71, died Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Merit Health in Batesville. She was the widow of Raymond Pelts.

Services were held Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, who had charge of arrangements. Interment was Forrest Memorial Park.

Pelts was born January 16, 1941 to the late George Washington White and Tishie Smith White in Arkansas. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed sewing and quilting.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son Charles Pelts.
Survivors include: three sons; Bob Pelts of Enid, Paul Pelts of Batesville and Michael Pelts of Hattiesburg; three sisters: Shirley White McCoy of Smithville, Doris White Kanski of South Carolina, and Dixie White Davison of Winter Springs, Fla., one brother; Johnny White of Oakland, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Robbie Jeanette Wilson
MEMPHIS––Robbie Jeanette Wilson, 65, died Wednesday, November 4, 2014.

Services will be held Saturday, November 14, at 11 a.m. at Zion Hill M.B. Church in Senatobia. Visitation will be held 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at Zion Hill M.B. Church Cemetery in Senatobia. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rodgers Funeral Home has charge.

Wilson was a cook.

Survivors include: her husband, Willie Wilson Sr.; one daughter, Kimika Wilson of Marion, Ark.; two sons, Rodrick Wilson and Willie Wilson Jr., both of Senatobia; four sisters, Beverly Yancey and Betty Pride, both of Detroit, Carolyn Taylor and India Folks, both of Memphis; two brothers, Thomas Johnson of Memphis and Robert Johnson of Detroit; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
