James A. Bay
BATESVILLE––James A. Bay, 86, died Friday, August 21, 2015, at Baptist Hospital North Mississippi.
Services were held Sunday at Wells Funeral Home. Reverend Tim McMillen officiated. Burial was in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Wells Funeral Home had charge.
Bay was born to the late Virgil Augusta Bay and Leona Perkins in Yale, Oklahoma. He was a factory worker and member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Batesville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clemmie Mason Bay.
Survivors include: two daughters, Glenda Deaton of Pope and Cathy Bailey of Sardis; one son, Mike Bay of Batesville; two sisters, Jewel Bay Miles of Batesville and Virgie Bay Scruggs of Sardis; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Robert Benjamin Brewer
POPE–– Robert Benjamin Brewer, 47, died Thursday, August 20, 2015 in Yalobusha County.
Services were held Sunday at Wells Funeral Home. Wells Funeral Home had charge.
Brewer, born November 30, 1967 to Faye McClenic and the late James B. Brewer in Batesville, was a correctional officer for the State of Washington and a member of the Church of Christ. He also served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include: his mother Faye M. Bland and stepfather Norman Hughie Bland of Pope; daughter, Addison Brewer Willis of Batesville; son, Garrett Brewer of Batesville; sister, Linette Walters of Senatobia; brother, Jim Brewer of Batesville.
The family asks that memorials be sent to the Panola Cancer Relief Fund, c/o Red Hudson, 447 John Branch Rd. Batesville, MS 38606

Peggie Gean Flowers
BATESVILLE––Peggie Gean Flowers, 69, died Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at Methodist North in Memphis.
Services were held Saturday at  Dickins Funeral Home. Burial was in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Hal Johnson officiated. Dickins Funeral Home had charge.
Flowers, born July 1, 1946, in Pope, to the late Lemmie Pruitt Flowers and Willie Frances Austin Flowers, was a member of Wells Station Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two sisters, Frances Ann Flowers of Memphis and Beatrice Walthall of Sarah.
Memorials may be made to Chapel Hill Cemetery, 8344 Pope-Crowder Rd., Pope, Miss. 38658.

John Wayne Lee
MARKS––John Wayne Lee, 75, died Tuesday, August 18, 2015 in Marks.
 Services were held Thursday at Kimbro Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Kimbro Funeral Home had charge.
Lee, born to the late Mosby and Leola Lee, was  retired from Valley Food Service in Batesville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Lee.
Survivors include: his sisters, Geneva Boyette of Pope, Ola Mae Washington of Pontotoc, Ophelia King of Oakland.

Donald Page
POPE––Donald “Donny” Page, age 64, died Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Methodist University Hospital Germantown.
The family will hold memorial services at his home in Pope at 12 noon, Saturday, September 5, 2015. Wells Funeral Home has charge.
Page was born in Memphis, to the late Lewis Page Sr. and Martha Graham Page. He worked as a lineman for MLGW for 25 years.
Survivors include: one son, Ricky Page of Collierville, Tenn.; one daughter, Amber Page Ramage of Pope; two brothers, Ronald Page and Lewis Page Jr. and five grandchildren.
The family asks that memorials be sent to The Shriners Children’s Hospital, 4400 Clayton Ave., St. Louis, Mo. 63110.
