Green Wave falls to Chiefs, 34-14

North Delta sophomore Will Kidder threw two touchdowns, a 36- yard strike to Bailey Ross and completed a 28-yard throw to Macen Mcgee but it was not enough as No. 4 ranked Magnolia Heights spoiled the Green Waves 2014 home opener with a  34-14 victory Friday night.
Senior signal caller David Herrington threw four touchdowns, all in the first half as the Chiefs took a 34-7 halftime lead. Travis Beam led Magnolia Heights in the rushing column with 68 yards on 10 carries.
Mcgee led North Delta in receiving with three catches for 47 yards while linebacker Hunter Baker collected nine tackles for the Green Wave defense.

North Delta (0-2) goes in search of its  first win of the season Friday  as they go on the road to Strayhorn, who fell 36-8 to Lee Academy.
