Snow in March?
On March 21-22, 1968 a snowstorm blew into North Mississippi with accumulations up to umpteen inches according to those who survived to exaggerate the story. Question is: Do you think we will experience snowfall with accumulation this March?

A 30-year-old Houston, TX woman returning to Courtland to pick up her son and take him home with her was killed last night in a two-car accident at Highway 51 and Hentz Road.

Panola County Coroner Gracie Grant-Gulledge said that Lataria Robinson was nearing her destination about 10 p.m. Monday night after a long drive from Houston. She planned to pick up her son who had been staying with grandparents. Robinson died instantly in the crash, Grant-Gulledge said.

The other driver, a Panola County deputy sheriff, was transported by ambulance for treatment. Neither the deputy's identity nor extent of injuries has been released at present. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.

Cooley’s Mortuary of Batesville is in charge of arrangements for the Robinson family, the coroner said.
