Cutest Pet Photo contest launched

The Panolian newspaper is on the prowl looking for the cutest pet photo it can find.

The Panolian launched its Cutest Pet Photo Contest this week and pets of all kind are welcome.

It does not matter if your pet is muddy in the photo. If the photo is cute to you, then it qualifies.

The photos will be accepted in three different categories: dogs, cats, and other pets. If a dog and cat are in the photo, the owner chooses which category to enter.

Entry fees are $10 per photo. Photos will be accepted now through July 29 at 5 p.m. The contest will then be open to the public to vote for 25¢ each. Proceeds from the contest will benefit the Panola County Humane Society.

The contest will be open for votes August 1 through 15 and the winner will be announced in the Friday, August 22 edition.

Entry form is located on page A8 in today’s edition of The Panolian or bring your entry by The Panolian, 363 Highway 51 North, Batesville from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
