The monastic Brothers and Sisters of Magnolia Grove Monastery at 123 Towles Road northwest of Batesville have invited the public to an Open House this Saturday, July 19 from 5 to 8 p.m.

“The day is open for people of all ages, faiths, backgrounds and experiences,” the invitation reads and includes, “Vegan food is provided for dinner such as eggrolls, spring rolls, BBQ and special Vietnamese cuisines and etc.”

A short presentation with slide show, guided tour, music, fun and games will be included in the afternoon festivities.

The monastics ask that visitors dress modestly to support the monastery’s environment.

“We certainly hope that you can come to our monastery for this occasion and make acquaintance with our young monastic Brothers and Sisters,” the invitation reads.
