The South Panola boys and girls track teams both placed first in the Winona Invitational on Tuesday.
Though some adversaries wanted to say South Panola did so well because they are from a bigger school, head coach Matt Mock would not let anyone make light of what his tracksters accomplished.
Mock cited some past lean years when the teams were young and they did not do so well, no matter how large or small their opponents were.
