An impressive fireworks display Saturday night at Sardis Dam kicked off the Sardis Sesquicentennial celebration. Shelby Roberson of Harmontown and Fancher Gallaspie of Abbeville (above) were among those basked in the soft light of sunset as spectators lined up in vehicles along the levee.
