South Panola falls to Hoover

In only their second meeting ever, Hoover overpowered South Panola 35-10 in a televised event Friday night.
South Panola did not score its first touchdown of the season until 39 seconds remaining in the third quarter. Except for five field goals by Clayton Sibley, South Panola went seven quarters without a touchdown.

It was reminiscent of last year when the Tigers went the equivalent of two games (eight) quarters without a touchdown.

Deandre Harris broke the spell when he hauled in a 34-yard pass from junior quarterback Rip Kirk and raced up the middle for the score.
